I will say no because Star Trek has had to many wars and the likes. Star Trek is about I dear say it Trek meaning exploration of the stars and first contacts leave the wars or at least for a while to "Star WARS"

Plots don't need to be only about conflict, although blowing things up and fighting is the biggist crowd puller, personaly I don't like conflict.
