the nintendo DS cant play Gameboy or Gameboy colour games. which also means you cant play the Star trek games either

I have

star trek tng :Beyond the Nexus

Star Trek:TNG:

since both of these and the TOS game are pre GBA that means these wouldnt work on the Nintendo ds.

It's not another gameboy, and that's the point. It's a portable, hand-held Nintendo system with dual screens--one of them is a touchscreen, but it's not a gameboy.

Ok so what's the fuss about it not playing old game boy games then?? I'll stick with my GBA sp, neat little thing ^_^

Well as long as they don't release the new Pokémon games so they can only be played on that ds thing, then I'm happy. Go on judge me, I love those games ^_^

Well you don't have to throw your GBA away, so you can still play them with the GBA if you have one.

uhh... What?

And RM, I think I read that too, and why wouldn't you be able to play GB(C) games if you can play GBA games? Sounds silly to me.
