Name: Allison - but everyone just calls me Allie, Als, Al - whatever!
~I've been a member on this site for almost 3 yrs now. I used to be on like 24/7, but now that I have an actual life I just tend to come and go. I hope to stick around for longer though now!! ANyways...
~I'm 19 years old and just finished (i mean survived) my first year of college.
~I still live at home w/ my one younger brother (17), my parents, and my 2 puppy dogs Maxx and Louie... and my rabbit "Bunnie" - i named him!
~I currently have two jobs (sometimes 3). I'm an administrative assistant at a prostodontic dental office (it's a dental specialtist - they do things like porceline teeth, dentures, crowns, bridges...that sorta thing). My other job that I have during the summer now is I'm a para in a summer school 1st grade special education classroom. My sometimes 3rd job is a substitute for dance classes when needed
~ Favorite things to do: DANCE!! Especially ballet but I also do jazz, tap, musical theatre...etc. I've been dancing for 12 years and don't plan on quiting any time soon. I'll never go professional (too hard to get into) but I will continue to do it for a hobby for a long while. As of one week ago I became a company member for the dance company I dance with!! That means that I get a main character role in all of our productions, I can take classes for free, and when the company has enough money - i'll get paid to dance for them!! I also spend a lot of time on my laptop just dinking around downloading stuff and doing whatever. I like to read when I have the time also. Another thing I really like doing is photography! I've done some senior pictures, wedding pictures, all sorts of stuff. And naturally i LOVE Star Trek!! I grew up being a trekkie! I can remember when i was 3 watching the original star trek with my dad. My fav character was Spock and that lady in the short skirt that always was writing stuff down (at least that's what i thought she was doing). STV and TNG are my fav shows. B'Elanna and Seven are my favorite characters.

So yea... that's me!

Welcome to the site, although it should be you welcoming me! If you, er, need any help then don't hesitate to ask,

I also like reading and photography. What kind do you do? Slides, negatives or digital? ((Sorry for those who have no clue what that is, )) There seems to be one big difference between us though, and that is that I CANNOT dance. I like singing though, and also play the French Horn.

yea, you've got an extreme newbie on your hands here - everyone beware! ! Haha.

We started out next dance production like a month ago. It is SOOO much fun!!!! It's Peterpan! I'm the mermaid queen, and the head lost boy named "Slightly". Omg being a lost boy is the the most fun thing ever!!!!! I'm also tinkerbells understudy which is a lot of fun too!! Hehe, what a great show!

If you need help with anything then just ask Miss Causin. You can send me a PM (that's a private message, up at the top of the screen if you don't know) with any questions,

Peterpan sounds cool. I have a slight problem with dancing (make that major) like most guys! But I enjoy mucking about with friends and so on. Also I've been in a few musicals so I can't imagine it being that different.

Pfft... To say welcome to a member who joined before me is nothing more than a mere oxymoron... I'll just have to go with the "Nice to Meet you angle"

Nice to meet you!

Haha, why thanks lol! Nice to meet you too!

Omg i wanted to strangle some of my level 2s that i taught tonight at dance. They would NOT shut up!! There's one little girl Lily who is like 9 or 10 i think and she is SOOO loud and SOOO obnoxious!! I had have her move to come and sit next to me when we were stretching b/c she wouldn't shutup and she was "like NOOOO I DON"T WANT TO SIT BY A BOY" (she'd have to sit next to this one little guy Gabe who btw is the cutest, sweetest, most adorible thing on the face of this planet) and i was like "u little effer.." b/c she was sitting next to our other boy Jess already. She just causes a ruckes in class all the time and gets all the other kids wild. It's SOO frustrating! THankfully though i only had to stretch them and then got to hand them over to my ballet teacher who got to deal with them! ! I was there to help out though so she wasn't by herself!

You had to strech them? :O Poor little things, or rather big ones now if they were streched that bad! Just smack the kid round the head, lol (JOKE, I am not a child beater). It's like that when they're small, they just like to talk and don't understand that they need to be quiet. And also you can't reason properly with them either.

omg you so cannot reason w/ them properly!! We stretched in the splits till we counted up to 100. It's one technique i've found works quite well. We'll all be stretching in the splits, and everyone goes around in the circle counting up till we get to 100. When we haven't done that, they end up whining and complaining like "how much longer?!?!". Haha, totally don't get me wrong - i love kids! Heck, i want to be a teacher - just not that age!! They're all like 2nd and 3rd grade. I want to teach 4th or 5th graders. I do have a class that i teach at that age and they're my most favorite EVER!! They're SOOOO wonderful! Like they're old enough that you can joke around and have fun with them, but at the same time they still love you as their teacher to death!! It's the greatest. it's soooo funny b/c they're totally at that age where when they start talking to you and having a conversation with you, they think they'r really cool and special b/c you're like one of the "big girls" talking to them. Haha, that was totally me times 10,000 at that age - it's not even funny. I like groveled at the "big girls" when i was at that age.
