I actually do have a question...

What is fluidic space, anyway? (I saw it on the forum description, and am actually wondering what it is!)

This topic had a discussion, but it wasn't very profound:

Basically, fluidic space is an alternate universe where all of space is viscous fluid: gases and liquids, mostly made of biological matter, along with some energy I would assume.

In other words, it is very dense.

Can a ship fly through fluidic space then?

Yes. I suspect that conventional ships such as Voyager would have a tougher time at it, but it's possible. Species 8472 bioships are of course constructed for the environment so probably have no problem.

Right. I just always have a hard time picturing a starship not in space.

Voyager going through fluidic space is like a knife going through butter.

Presumably a Starship in Fluidic space would be like a Sub under water. Or in sticky water?

but don't forget that sub's have been made to withstand high pressure for under water, and spaceships to withstand very low pressure conditions, this means voyager has a very strong hull to withstand enormous pressure changes.
