It was Michael Dorn. I don't think he was Worf though.....

It was Michael Dorn playing "Colonel Worf". Got it right on.

STAR TREK . COM says it’s supposed to be Worf’s grandfather. And yes it was Michael Dorn. It was the initial event that eventually led to Worf’s career in Star Fleet.
