Bonjour, Katharyn Rachèlle-Anne King here! Most people just call me Kat or Cathexis, either is fine by me!

My favorite thing about STV is all the totally awesome people that I've met here over the years. I've always been such a huge fan of Star Trek: Voyager and I'm glad to know that I'm not alone in that respect. I wouldn't trade my membership here for anything in the world.

A word to the wise: I'm an ABSOLUTE fan of Kate Mulgrew, as well as her character on ST: VOY (Kathryn Janeway). I've always loved following her finely-developing career and I'm proud to be the host of her Birthday Thread at STV every year.

In my spare time, I love to RP and write TrekFic, some of which is J/C based since I am a major fan of the would-be couple and I have a lot of fun fiddling with that sort of thing. If I'm not working on something JetC, I'm putting together an RPG or an original TrekFic series...so far, I've written three entirely different series---all unique in their own right. Oh, speaking of which, I should probably mention Star Trek: Dawn of Dreams, my latest and greatest TrekFic adventure!

Mustn't forget to add that I like to write poetry now and then as well.

Admittedly, I'm a fan of Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, X Files, Babylon 5, and Earth: Final Conflict. I don't know if that means anything to anybody, but I just thought I should point it out.

Okay, let's see...what else....

Something unique about myself? Well, I'm in love with Theatre and I spend a great deal of my time acting/performing in local musical and non-musical productions. I hope to someday teach Theatre Arts on the high school level. It's quite a passion, as is my adoration of European History....

I'm of French-Beligian, British, German, and Dutch decent and I love speaking French. It's another passion of mine. Foreign languages, one could say, are my niche. I just find them interesting and exciting! Studying world cultures is something I also enjoy!

Of course, no lonely Friday night could be complete without a nice book and a warm fuzzy blanket to keep me company.

*points to self* Proud to be a supporter of Same Rights For Same Sex/ Gay-Straight Alliance/Rainbow Alliance organizations, etc!

Erm...............oh! I love everything from the 1920s-50s, especially the great Katharine Hepburn! She's always been a true inspiration, along with Julie Andrews, Judy Garland, Judy Holliday, Rosemary Clooney, Gene Kelly, Gertrude Lawrence, Noel Coward, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Greer Garson, Bette Davis, Gloria DeHaven, Liza Minelli, Jean Hagen, and more.... I could never have continued with my acting pursuits had it not been for their example.

I would just like to state that I feel quite euphoric about winning Miss STV! I am grateful that those 4 votes for 1st place won the title. Now,if they could just give me a mod posting as a reward! LOL, what was the whole point anyway? I have absolutely no clue. I have joined a choir and am enjoying my solo parts in the song "Under The Boardwalk"!

I really appreciate all the sympathy and leniency that has been blessed upon me during the last month. My life has been a living hell and if you arevery kind, I will explain further. I have not given any real explanation because I know that all of you have a story to tell, so, I decided not to bear any stress down on you. I can understand how winning the miss stv contest would make you feel better if you have had a stressful time recently. Winning it is just a small thing, but the feeling from actually winning are significant because it makes you feel good that the impression from people are positive.

Oh yes..."Dreams To Thy Heart" is in the works, just hang on a little longer, everyone! Hopefully everyone will enjoy that,especially since I've worked on it for some time now. I will be showcasing all of my fictional work at LightToThyPath.TK
