Patrick Stewart has chosen i think 4 of his favourite episodes and have been put into a dvd box set.

I think the episodes that are in it are:

The Inner Light (A probe downloads an entire life into Picards Brain and he relives this life in the space of 20 mins)

Darmok (First Contact with a new Species who speak in metaphors, Picard and the captain of their species are beamed down to a planet where they form a good friendship) (my personal fave)

Cant remember the name but: (The Enterprise encounters a shuttlecraft and they find a duplicate of Picard, A terrifying log in the shuttlecraft shows what happens.

I think theres 1 or 2 more but it looks good, ill have to buy it!

Darmok was good.... However, The Inner Light was unforgetable. It could be one of TNG's top 10. I understand why Patrick Stewart picked this one.

I hope that they do something similar with the Voyager DVDs...I won't be able to afford all the DVDs as I'm just a student. With these though I'll be able to get quite a few of the good episodes at a much cheaper price...

Okay... I think you meant the "Picard Box". I have it

But I could not find out if Patrick has chosen the episodes by himself

It includes the episodes:

- The Inner Light

- Bloodlines

- Allegiance

- Lessons

- Starship Mine

- Darmok

- Captain's Holiday

- Some excerpts from the season 3, 6 and 7 mission logs

- DS9 on DVD trailer

I hope I could help.

They'd still be way too expensive. I might be able to get the first few but then when I go to University and I'm on a smaller budget it'd be hard to afford them without going hungry lol. Maybe I exagerate a little. I just don't wanna be coming out of university with so many debts it seems impossible to pay them off.

The DVDs have an RRP of £84.99 per season so buy the time I've finished I'd have spent close to £600 on DVDs never mind living. And that's without going out with mates and stuff. Lol I think if I started buying those at Uni I'd be stuffed lol.

Have you seen the new TNG Borg Megacube boxset? It costs £425 and includes every TNG episode. Cheaper in the long run but alot to spend all at once...

I bought it the other day. Gotta expand my TNG collection. Not really a big fan of Picard...

So far I've watched "Allegiance"... I thought it was pretty average really. Quite clever of Picard, but the episode didn't really do anything I thought. I've also watched "Captain's Holiday". This one's better IMO. It was quite funny when Deanna told the Captain that her mother was going to come.
