All the DS9 books set after the series are fantastic (I've read Avatar, Millennium and Section31, all of them )

I liked reading Jeri Taylors Mosaic and Pathways. They were very good reads.

I like The Return by William Shatner the best out of all the Star Trek novels I've read. Federation is ok, once you get into it.

"A Stitch in Time" by Andy Robinson was the best Trek book I've read. It was very original.

my all time favorite star trek book is "crossover" where scotty steals the uss yorktown, and spock is captured by romulans, and there is a century old federation starship with an incredibly outdated cloaking devicce on it traveling through romulan space...

...yeah, that one...lol

I'm also reading the Farther Shore...it only came yesterday and I've nearly finished it already lol. It's better than Homecoming IMO - I thought that was a little slow to start and I very nearly didn't buy Farther Shore because of it...but then I figured if I was going on holiday I'd need something to read en route. So I've read it before we go dammit lol.

I just finished Farther Shore this morning and it was pretty good...

I thought Baines ending was a little rushed and I don't really know what was so vital about having Data with them...he certainly wasn't used for they purpose they intended...in fact, they didn't explore that option much...

I was a bit annoyed about Chakotay's ending though; I wished that job would have gone back to Janeway with the rest of the crew...
