oh Man Dr. Phlox rules! I Saw him in a Movies High Crimes and It just made the movie sooo much better! I think he is one of the best doctor and he doesnt have all of the tecnology Dr Crusher has or the EMH does... I like how he uses creams and like animals to treat things

Phlox is a good character for Enterprise. He provides an alternate view on situations and helps to open up the crew's perspective. His opinions are more accessible and friendlier than Tpol's.

the Big m is right, Pholx is a great help to show that the series is about a couple of alien species, not all the ones were a custom to, and his simile is cool
