Now, now, let's be fair, there were some very nice occasions, for example in the temporal episode when Chakotay helps Katherine and she asks at the end: "Just how close do we get?" He could have planted a romantic one right on her lips, since she was obviously intrigued, she wouldn't have minded. And then just whisper into her ear: "That's for you to find out!"

I agree with beansidhe and am going with 'never'.

Besides, it's not really appropriate for a captain and her first officer to get involved. It could change the nature of their command relationship and have them agreeing with each other about things they'd normally have disagreed on, which could increase the danger to the crew.

By the way, this I think is a "fun" topic, it's irrelevant to talk about serious issues like danger to the crew. Just enjoy the ride!

Plus the part when they get left behind on a planet because a bug bit both of them... The two of them spent a lotta time there together, on their own, so like I said: "On the bed, on the floor, on a towel by the door..." Plus captain-first mate restrictions didn't count anymore. Tuvok navigates the ship back, and dear 'ol Kathy's there with a big belly. Someone for Naomi to play with.
