Hi there, I'm Grace and I'm totally new to this messageboard so I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a 17 year old student and currently live in London.
I like, among other things, reading, music, animals, caffeine and (not suprisingly) Star Trek, especially Voyager and TNG.
If you wanna know anything specific, just ask =]

Hi, welcome to STV,
Excited about the new movie? Now that it's getting closer to being released, I find myself growing more anxious. (I'd pretty much given up on Trek for the longest time).
Also, what kind of music do you like? And did you know STV has a brand new book club? We're reading The Boy In The Striped Pajamas.

Welcome to STV indeed Grace ! Hope you find this site to be quite fun and I too can't wait for the new trek movie, but unlike T, I never gave up on trek...just didn't expect much after Enterprise, it would seem my expectations have been exceeded!

Thanks for the warm welcome I must admit I kinda did kind of give up on the idea of Star Trek churning out anything new after Enterprise, especially after it got cut after just 4 seasons, but my favourites are Voyager and TNG so I'm totally happy just watching the box sets for now. So I am pretty excited about the new movie, although I hope it won't detract from the legend that all the Star Treks have created.
In terms of music, I'm quite an acoustic/folk/country girl (possibly not the coolest taste in the world ) I play acoustic guitar, so the genre kinda fits with that.
And thanks for the note about the book club, I've read that book and really enjoyed it

I must say...I completely and 100% disagree with that statement lol! While nowadays I do listen to rock and roll and heavy metal and what not, a wide variety lets just call it, my roots have always been and always will be a proud country boy...it's what I grew up on and its what I'll likely die listening to !

i totally disagree with the statement too lol, unfortunately living in England to love country and western is to be considered ultimately lame (amongst a large majority of the population anyway). I too grew up listening to it, courtesy of my mum, and know that it'll stay with me forever

I did actually quite enjoy DS9, thought the plot was really well crafted and loved some of the characters, but imo it just can't compare with Voyager
