Hey guys, it has been a long time since I have been on last. I don't know what happened really but was surfing the web and found this site again and it brought back alot of good memories I hope I can get back into the community and make friends again new ones and ones that I had when I used to be on.

I am Aaron, I am 21 years old and go to Iowa State University, I am currently finishing up my 3rd year, only 2 to go, it goes by really fast.

My favorite star trek would be voyager, then TNG and DS9. As far as the characters go its hard to choose just one as a favorite, Tom Paris is pry close to, but I like just about everyone on voyager.

I am happy to be back again, also if anyone wants to talk to me outside the boards you are more then welcome to add me to msn. Hope to have many great adventures here again!

Its nice to meet you Deb, I don't remember you so I think this is the first time we talked. I was active up until the end of 2003 begining of 2004 (around when I started college) and semi active until 2005 which that I was last on, been a long time way to long. It is good to be back though, I was to caught up in what was happening in my life and trying to keep in touch with my friend who is in Iraq much longer then he was supposed to due to the extensions. I hope STV will help me put away my worries for some time like it used to. Hope to get to talk to you more Deb.

I remember you too! Though I'm sure you've no idea who I am. Used to go by B'Ellanna Torrez, then I went by Exalya... but it's the same me. Glad to have you back. What is it you're in college for?

I think I rememeber you when you went by B'Ellanna Torrez. And I am majoring in Finance, though I don't really know what I want to do when I get out, only 2 years until I graduate, guess i should start putting some more thought into what I actually want to do.

Welcome back to STV friend, I'm Curtis...but many peeps here just call me Curt nowadays. I used to be Captain Skenandore and quite the RPG'er, now i just dont have the time. Anywho, congrats on your engagement, when's the lucky day? I myself have an awesome lass by my side and hope that she is the one...we are going on half a year right now ! Lastly, I kinda know what you mean about the job market...I would like a new one soooo much right now (management at my current job sux), but I am just happy that I have a job, unlike many others...how unfortunate it is, no offense meant to you or anyone else.

it wont be for awhile yet, may 21, 2010 is the date. I hope you luck with your girl

And none taken, I am nto picky on where I work as long as i can find something, hy-vee, wal mart anywhere is fine I can always find something better later on. I remember you as captian skenandore. back in the days transwarp and defiant were still around, I miss those days sometimes, I also fell out of the rpg'ing and it looks like not much goes on here anymore either, but thats alright

Oh that isn't too specialized (which is a good thing, so no offense), so hopefully you'll have lots of opportunities!

none taken, I don't want to be really specialized. I just want to live an be hasppy. I don't need a really high paying job, I am just need enough to pay my bills, I am fairly happy with my lifestyle now I never have wanted the newest and best things. as long as I have a tv, computer and the net im happy. Oh and my star trek and other dvd's of course lol. So I will be happy as long as i can find any old job, right now im a custodian for the university, I don't mind that work much at all even. I am not that picky. If I had any choice i wanted for a job id want to have a lower level bank job. Banks are in a pretty big mess at this time gonna be interesting to see how things work out. its pretty scary to think about we really are living in troubled times, and no one wants to take any responsibilty. enough to make me sick. I know no single person is to blame and the blame is spread quite a bit over many groups but no one will admit they were doing things they shouldn't. Like pushing loans one people that couldn't afford it at all, interest only loans that eventually turned to fixed rate and when it did payments jumped way up. and even worse were less then interest where for the first few years ya didnt even have to pay all the interest and when it became a fixed rate loan you were upside down and owed more then the house was worth. no wonder why people are defaulting, even peopel that can afford payments sometimes just defualt now to since housing values have gone so low and they owe up to twice what their house is now worth.

I am sorry sometimes I jsut get going on this whole mess and don't stop...

hahaha, those were the days indeed. Defiant (Mark), and Transwarp (Will), and myself...plus Janeway9 (Fran) and Captain Skyline / Tidus / whatever else he goes by (Kai)...all with our own major role playing games on the front page! Things have indeed died down here since then, but with the new movie coming out we are holding out hope for some sort of resurrgence, maybe even to the RPG section (tho that is doubtful to me), who knows! As for your wedding date, I wish you the best of luck mate...and yea, I think this is the girl for me, but only time will tell (half a year next month, yay)

yea, the good ole days. I remember when transwarp left, and defiant did, made me a bit sad. I never had my own RPG and know I would not be good. but i did love being a part of them. lol running bob's fort was a big enough adventure for me in transwarps RPG, lol my name is not even bob i think some people back then thought I was but I was uncreative when i picked a name for rpg's lol my name is actually Aaron I don't know if I told anyone here that before.
