This might seem like a random question, what with this site being a ghost town, but are there any RPers left? I was just wondering...

I've got three weeks off for Christmas right now, and I don't have too much going on during the break, so I might be up for some RP'ing, at least until school starts back.

I don't think I should vote, though!

Hah, thanks anyways.

Ok, well I was just checking. I think it's safe to say RPing has officially died on STV.

Why the excited face? RP'ing has died...at STV!

lol, yeah, it does look that way. Quite unfortunate, but not unexpected.

Is anything still going on over at the Hub?

That's more of me just laughing, then excited.

Yeah, we revamped the site and are trying to increase membership. Which is why I came here to look for potential members. A mistake on my part.

I'm sorry! I was just looking for RPers. Forgive me, Dan. Surely some still exist.

RP on STV is dead?! That's not true! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Dear lord, I haven't RPed in probably several years. But then, I believe I stopped because there were too many going on at once, and I was in one too many to keep up! Perhaps, if the few RPers left started just one, special RPG, I would be tempted to join it? It certainly would remind me of the glory days of 2003-2004, when I became so addicted to these RPGs that my school grades began to suffer. My interest in Star Trek appears to have waned as well, probably because once I realized I had seen every single STV episode, I refused to watch any other ST series.

Anyway, if you guys start an RPG, I will definitely consider joining it.

I'd like to propose a challenge then.

Let's get all of us who posted to try and think up a proper storyline, and at least one character per person.

Let's try and revive STV RPG!!!

((This is going to fail, isn't it? Isn't it? PROVE ME WRONG THEN!))

I agree, I havent RP'ed since after 2001, when I left the site for the first time (sometime in late 2002 I think). For me, even after returning to STV on numerous occassions, I "retired" from RPG'ing mostly for the same reasons as you Kyle, I was involved with too many all at once, including running my own on the main page for nearly a year...nearly. I certainly remember the glory days of STV RPG'ing in 2001 when I joined til 2004 when I made a return to the site for a second time...I think...then RPG'ing officially, and rather unfortunately, died here at STV...may STV RPG'ing rest in peace

I'd be open to creating a new one, if enough people joined. Sadly, it's nearly impossible to get a full crew.

Happy New Years to you, syd.

I'm developing an RP off-site, because STV lags badly for me for some reason. It takes like 5 minutes just to open one page.

Not to mention, the downtimes tend to erase data.
