Did you ever think that voyager and her crew would not make it back to the alpha Q ?

Yeah, but I thought the ending could have been better. They should have showed what was going to happen to the maquis....

I think they should have went with the Dominion won idea... it would have made Voy's ending better.

Agreed squiggy!

Yes, I knew VOY would always get home in the end. I mean, that was the entire premise of the show. I knew VOY was never dark enough to have them not make it home.

Yes, Of Course, that was the whole idea.

The idea was to go back to the traditional deep space exploration star trek without the Alpha quadrant 'Soap opera' politics of TNG and DS9.
But, we have already gotten use to the idea of a continuity in the story line, so, they came up with the idea of a lonely Star ship making its way home.

Personally, I have always been fascinated with the Star ships that disappeared or lost contact, like the ship of Geordie Laforge's Mother, I've always wondered what happened to them and I thought it would make a great Star Trek story. In-did, there are Star trek Books about such ships, but when they came up with Voyager... I was JUMPING UP AND DOWN

The fabric of the world is not enough, there must be and there is more than what we see! Go out there and explore, do not be fooled by phisicality!

Absolutely, and the ending was very fitting, despite popular opinions

I'm glad it did because its so frustrating when they don't get that right (Quantum Leap, Sam never makes it home, aarrgh!). I just think Endgame did leave it hanging a little, not enough "wow" at the end, it sort of just finished!

It was a nice touch that they showed the homecoming too, that they ended the journey. Before I knew the show would include something like this I sometimes let my mind wonder about "ok, it's fine and dandy now, but what about in 30 years, will we see a white-haired old captain plagued by a single obsessive thought while the other crewmembers would already like to settle down on a planet and make a home?" Or will she pass the torch to B'elanna or even Tom and we will see a wise 50-year-old Captain Paris guiding the next generation of crew wisely home? But "knowing the facts" until the end felt better.
