Bad idea. I think the Dominion was enough. Besides, Voyager had enough Borg to cover all of the series.

Isn't there a topic on this already?

Anyways, I don't think it would have really worked, storywise, character wise? yeah, sure, Sisko having to face the Borg again would have been cool.

Besides, the Dominon story was much better

Yeah, I remember making a topic on this...

Anyways, I think the Borg would have worked on ONE episode. Certainly, nothing more than that. Just something for Sisko to face. Maybe even Jake as well.

I agree with Founder. It would have made a wonderful episode, but more than one would have eroded some of the character conflict.

I'm glad the Borg never made it to DS9. It would have been a very large mistake. DS9 was good because it created new enemies and new severe threats to the safety of the Federation.

I think I would have never come out from behind the sofa if the Borg had come in for one or more episodes!

...though since Voyager I find the Borg less scary than I used to.

				it begs the question...

Well, either they could or they'd simply do what they did to Species 8472. If they can't be assimilated, they can be annihilated.

So I suppose the borg counter reply to that would be:

[borg]No odo on the face of the universe.[/borg]

That would really have sucked. DS9 needed odo.

That's actually a very good question. If they could, they'd be the most powerful race in 3 quadrants.

What makes you think a fleet or a fleet of fleets of the "Lost World saurians" can do any damage to the rotating shield harmonics thingy of the Borg cube?
