Wed Jan 03, 2007 10:02 pm    Star Trek on iTunes! |

  |

Okay, this just in...Star Trek TOS Season One is now, as of today, available on iTunes!

Now, I didn't post this in the TOS forum because it is my expectation that soon enough, in no time, more series will be available on iTunes, and I therefore created this topic here for that very reason.

So, just wanted to let all of you iTunes users know - and those that aren't but may well be - that your opportunity to purchase individual Trek episodes is either here or on the way (depending on the series)!

Yay! I've got three episodes on my list...I never wanted to shell out for the whole thing because I just don't watch them enough to justify it. I was wondering how long it would take them.

I think they're waiting to see how well the first season of TOS does, if enough episodes are sold I'm sure they'll put the rest of them up. It's just a matter of time.

i think they should have started with a newer version of Star Trek though becuase people that are teenages who mostly have Ipods usually haven't been around to see TOS but i hope it all goes well so then all the Star treks can be on their,

I hope they put the rest of Star Trek on. But then again, they only do one season at a time on a lot of the shows...

I'm not surprised they did TOS first, it seems like it's easier to get distribtion rights for TOS cheaper then the newer stuff.

$1.99 an episode, and about $50 for a season.

I believe I read there was some sort of technical problem with distribution? It's supposed to be back, I think?

Yeah, not only is it all back up, but there's more!

Now iTunes is selling Seasons One and Two of the original, all the movies (for $9.99 a piece), music, audiobooks, and podcasts! I'm excited. I might end up getting one of the movies of iTunes, lol. I can't wait until DS9 is up! (which I expect it will be at some point)

I don't care for the show, but it's a good sign for Trek! Enterprise is on iTunes now!

I was going to download the first season the other day but I remembered I could just buy it on ebay for half the price. If I really wanted it on my computer I could just copy it.
