				my first console was the Sega Master System that i inherited from my cousin.  my dad took off the top half of the encasing, and we just had one game cartridge (which was also similarly unshelled) that we used for all games. my dad would bring home a bunch of EPROM chips with various game ROMs saved on them and we'd just plug each one of them into the IC slot on the game cartridge.
 
 
the second console i owned was a playstation--modded of course.
 
 
and now i have a PSP running custom firmware, an SNES emulator, and CPS-1, CPS-2 and NeoGeo arcade emulators.
