The challenge is always to maintain a consistent story

with respect to the characters, the chronology, and the

science. Share your ideas on reliable sources to use

when writing a Star Trek novel / article / story.

I've heard that the various Encyclopedias, Companions, etc. are good.

However, personally, I just use my memory. I may have trouble with Physics equations, but when it comes to Trek my memory is pretty darn good.

Lindley: I have seen evidence of your ST prowess

this last month on this forum!

I have the ST:Chronology, but much of the late

Voyager seasons are not included. So, I have

started to go through all the back issues of

ST: The Magazine and the ST: Communicator.

A labor of love.....

Seven: I agree and thank you.

This is the most infomation-literate Star Trek

forum on the web!

The Star Trek literature seems to be lagging

behind a bit. I am trying to contact several of

the writers to gain insight on how they "navigate"

the sea of ST information.
