No, it's just another movie, like "Knightrider 2000", only in theaters and without a red Kit this time.

I also think it's a fall on words, instead of "night" they are saying "Knight"

I'm sorry, I think the show was cancelled when I was an infant (because it started 4 yrs. before I was born). I don't claim to be an expert or anything, just liked it when I was a kid. They had better keep the theme song though. lol.
