I've seen sites that allow animated icons - they get really old after a while. Although I've got one that I love, and it's very subtle

I don't know, maybe the system taht deals with AV's are debugging? what are you tryng to change it to?

That's happened to me a lot. I (seemed to) stopped getting it when I saved my images as .jpg instead of .png...I really have no idea why it was doing that to me though.

If anyone wants to see how amazing a 100x100 icon can be thats between 2 and 4 kb, I have PLENTY of examples. My avatar now (although I think its pretty crappy) is only 2 kb, I've gotten much better since making that, but the same things apply. The header in my lj is 7 kb and its 500x350.
