Well. Neelix isn't my favorite character. But he did have some depth to him ("Jetrel"!). I just love how the doll was made

They had one or two episodes where he really became an intersting character. But yeah, he was best at comic belief. "Mr. Vulcan!" 
They were a great pair. That one where Tuvok lost his memory, that was great!
