PostSat Dec 22, 2007 9:58 pm    Most Moving Moments On Voyager...

What is your favourite, most touching and moving moment on Voyager ?

I have a few, but here are the ones I think of off the top of my head.

In "Scorpion, Part I", I believe...
Chakotay is in Janeway's ready room and they have a little discussion about the Borg and all this...and then Janeway says, "Three years ago, I didn't even know your name. Today I can't imagine a day without you."

In "Coda"....
When Harry and B'Elanna give their eulogies and Janeway is trying to fight back tears.

In "The Voyager Conspiracy"...
When Janeway beams aboard the Delta Flyer to stop Seven. She says, "'Stardate: Today. Janeway beams aboard the Delta Flyer. She reminds Seven of the bond that's grown between them. Seven lowers the force field and decides to come home.....' All I'm asking is that you trust me again." And Seven does lower the force field, Janeway kneels beside her and calls the ship to have them beamed back. I love that moment.

I think it's the most touching moment....absolutely. I do, I do, I do, I do !!

What about you ?

I forget the episode's name, but I found the one where Tuvok's mind reverts back to a child like mind pretty touching. Him and Neelix became great friends, and when they had a cure for him, he was sad because he would no longer be able to bake with Mr Neelix.

My most emotuional moment is when in drone seven actually shows she has feelings for another person when the drone says he will beam over to the cube and sacrifice himself for the Voyager crew.

Always bring a tear to the eye.

I thought the moment that B'elanna and Tom are in a shuttle and it fails, and they're in space in their spacesuits, what's the ep called? Day of honor I believe. I loved that part of the ep

Oh, and also the ep with B'elanna and Tom (yeah I'm a fan ) Lineage it was, when they're in the sick bay and Tom confronts B'elanna with the fact that she altered the doctor to take out the Klingon genes from her child.

Yea Friendship was good with "This man is my friend, nobody touch him"
I also liked much and replayed a few times Harry's face, very nicely played...when Voyager was under Ice and Harry and Chak went back in time to stop it from happening... the last seconds when the older Harry goes ant-hunting on the console, his fingers are a blur, there's a countdown, 3, 2, 1..Harry finishes, slams a fist on the console, says YESS!!! and blows up.
And then Endgame's end brought tears to my eyes when I realized there's no more... all those nice characters I've grown to love... Seven, Tom, Harry, B'el, Chak, Tuvok... then close-up on Janeway and it was all over. (

Definitely when the Doctor's holographic family dies. Nothing else even came close for me.

Chakotay and Janeway are stuck on some planet, and then Chakotay tells some story about a Warrior. It was pretty touching.

Also, the episode in which Tuvok shows emotions and whatnot, and becomes good friends with Neelix. Man, how touching.

There was also many episodes in which Chakotay always just stood there as his Captain blew off steam at him for something he didn't do, and he just took it. That is what I call a good friend.

I say "Live Long and Prosper".
Then you say "Peace and Long Life".
It's the way of life.
Don't deny it.
LOVE IT.
OR DIE.

Tuvok and Neelix were the best when Tuvok made some dance steps for him, before his leaving Voyager.

Wow you guys all got some good ones. Mine is gonna seem really weird.

When I first heard Voyager was coming on, and I was all prepped to watch the 2 hr 1st ep, lights all off, house quiet, Im glued to the set just enjoying this new trek show... Seeing all these different people thrown together, and they rescued Kes, and Neelix was on board and they come in to talk to the captain and say they want to stay on board, and and Im like, *sniff* I wanna go too!!

And yeah, almost more than anything, I remember that time being the 1st and most touching, because I seen this long journey ahead, on this star ship as new to the crew as it was to me, and as much as I'd love to live in a trek world... I just felt like everyone got to go but me... sad, huh.

It's hard to pick. I love all the moments you have all mentioned. So I'll pick a, if not the, most touching moment for me.

When Neelix was leaving. Saying goodbye to everybody, and he had kept trying to get Tuvok to dance (that stubborn Vulcan!). And as Neelix said his goodbyes to everyone, he turns to Tuvok and they exchange touching words. And when Neelix turns to leave, Tuvok says "Mr. Neelix..." and he does that little foot movement dance.....

PostFri Jan 29, 2010 6:38 pm    Touching moments.

In Resistance, season 2, when Caylem risked his life for Janeway/"Ralkana".

JANEWAY: Caylem!
CAYLEM: Ralkana. He said you'd been shot.
JANEWAY: He was lying to you, father. I'm all right.
CAYLEM: And your mother
JANEWAY: Fine. She was so happy to get your letters. She wants me to tell you something. She forgives you. We both do.
CAYLEM: My sweet girl. (Caylem dies in her arms and Paris arrives to pull her from the embrace.)

The very end of "Barge of the Dead" in season 6, when B'Elanna comes out of her coma to find Janeway at the end of her biobed.

TORRES: Mother? .....Oh, god, I'm alive!
JANEWAY:(B'Elanna leaps into a very surprised Janeway's arms.) Welcome back

PostTue Feb 16, 2010 9:57 pm    Three Moving Moments

These I picked for the most moving moments and(I admit) all the previous are good these are not yet said.
In 'Eye of the Needle'(1-7) a lone Romulan in a science vessel in the Alpha Quadrant is moved by Voyager's plee for help and accepts the dangerous and haphazard concept of transporting himself through the micro-fissure wormhole. Why would a Romulan have these fellings?
In 'Message in a Bottle'(4-14) the doctor is chosen to be transported through the aliens ancient relay stations to the Federation ship Prometheus 60000 lt. yrs. away in the Alpha Quadrant. No one should compete with the artificial intelligence wizardry deployed between the two A. I. 's.( the doctor and the Mark 2). The doctor tries to convince him he should have more character and the Mark 2 is terrified about trying to wrest the ship from the barbaric Romulans. When the doctor returns the entire crew is relieved that Star Fleet now knows Voyager is alive in the Delta Quadrant.
In 'Course Oblivion'(5-1 what looks like the Voyager crew is actually incarnations originating from the 'Demon' planet. B'Ellana is the first to die and then the rest of the crew, then the officers and finally Janeway. Harry, Seven and a few crew are all that's left alive when they detect Voyager 22.5 lt. yrs. distant. The ship is fused into warp-speed and can't stop and it explodes into a ball of dust!

Sorry to bump, but mine would have to be Year of Hell (not sure which part), when Janeway goes to repair something, and Tuvok suggests that she is risking her life. Janeway is prepared to take this chance, so Tuvok gives her the ol' "Live Long and Prosper" gesture. Janeway hugs Tuvok. Usually, Tuvok would stand rigid, but this time, you see a small hand going up to just slightly hug her back. Ah, that was lovely.
