Do you think Harry Kim made a good crew member

i think harry was okay. he did whine a bit but he was honest and loyal and thats what matters

I really liked the character of Harry Kim. One of my top 5 favorite STV show's was "Timeless". Brilliant!

I think Harry was one of the most loyal crewman, not only to the captain or voyager, but off duty he was loyal to his friends.

He was alright, Its a shame that he was an Ensign all of those years (Janeway claimed there was no room for promotions, but Promoted Tuvok, Demoted Paris, and Repromoted him...) and that he was so naive and gullible, even after several years in the DQ. Seriously, the "OMG! We're gonna get home! :

" then "*sniff* *sniff* We didn't get home..." got old after a couple seasons. I guess though, that was blamed on Garret Wangs actions on the set, and those in charge deciding that's how his character will be, don't know how true that is.

Harry was an awesome crew member. He was very loyal to the captain, which personaly I think is a good thing.

He was that school boy who wanted his captian to be proud of him and he was the little brother to the crew so he was a good crewman

i loved harry (and i got to meet him at the vegas convention)...his character was honestly a green recruit straight out of training and you got to see him grow into a veteran officer with more experience than some officers could even think of having....his character really shows what military life does...he goes from writing his parents every week to almost forgetting about them near the end of the series

Harry is great. The friendship between him and Tom is really a nice part of Voyager, we men can identify with that, we all have good friends we can do crazy stuff with. Tom and Harry were like two highschool kids sometimes

I've seen a lot of comments on youtube when Kes left the show that "they should have dumped Harry instead". I think that would have been a great mistake. Harry's role was meaningful, while Kes only annoyed everybody.

I really enjoyed the character of Harry Kim.

I can relate to him so much. I mean, I'm usually the one who gets either picked on, or something bad happens to me. I'm also the one who wants everyone to be proud of me, and I want to serve the best way I can. Harry made an excellent crewmen!

What I like about Harry....hmmm...

Oh, I know what. The way he always seemed to have this amazingly cute expression on his face, even when he was in trouble. I also liked him and think he's a great crew member because I never once heard him complain about being an Ensign. I mean, if I was trapped in the Delta Quadrant, and 5 years later we're still in the Delta Quadrant, and I was still an Ensign, I would be complaining. But Harry never did.

Harry also saved the day a lot. Yes, he was usually the first one to get kidnapped, robbed, or beaten, but he saved Voyager on countless occasions.

I would have liked to have seen more of Naomi Wildman. Also, Icheb and all the other little borgies. Harry was ok. "Timeless" was a great episode. My favorite other than "Endgame". Harry's character got to really shine in "Timeless". I wish I'd seen more of that Harry Kim....

By far my least favorite character on Voyager. I would cringe at a beginning of an episode when I would realize that he would play a large role in it. In his character he is a complete bitch..why would anyone wanna see that type of character? Also, his acting was not that good making it even worse. At least they had him boning that one alien in an episode, but even that was unbelievable cuz he is normally such a *beep* ,,,i wud hav much rather see somone else bonin the alien like chakotay or 7 of 9.
BTW..who cares about how he helped voyager? If his character sucked why the hell does it matter?

I don't think his character sucked. He portrayed the nerd, and his friendship with the jock Tom was all the more interesting.

A very uncompelling nerd....now a GREAT nerd was Reggie.....now THAT"S a nerd and how we want to see nerds... If anything he brought Tom Paris' character down a notch just cuz Tom's character was supposed 2 actually like Harry.
