It's hard for me to pick just one but I think my favorite is Signs. In fact that might be my favorite movie period.

“Wing Commander” was one of the best Super NES games ever made and it made for a fairly good movie, despite the fact that half the cast of the “Scooby Do” movies where in it. I was a little disappointed by the fact that the movie started with one of the main characters of the games (Iceman) being dead and Maniac just joining the crew, when in the games Iceman and Maniac knew each other. One of the things I like about the new version of “Battlestar Galactica” is it a lot in common with the “Wing Commander” movie, right down to the quasi-religious references.

				In no particular order...

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (Okay, I'll admit. This is my favorite sci-fi movie of all-time)

Star Wars: A New Hope

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

Serenity

Aliens

And, several others, that I can't think of, off the top of my head.

"The Fifth Element" was good. I absolutely loved "Wing Commander". Other good ones that I can think of would be "The Nowhere Man", "The Dead Zone", and "The Butterfly Effect".

Topping the list would have to be Serenity and Star Wars (the original trilogy). The characters, writing, etc. were all just wonderful. That and the one liners that you can quote...

				Non-trek stuff?

Well, something that I really did like was the Firefly series and the Serenity movie.

I did see 3 or 4 segments of that mini series when it was originally on television. It was very well made. I remember something about aliens disguising themselves as weird things (like a big rabbit). I really want to see the whole series. I'm going to have to find the dvds.

If you haven't seen it, and don't want to know, don't highlight that. It's just a question for someone who has seen it.
