				 Thu Feb 06, 2003 6:44 pm    Enterprise-Cease Fire |

				This is next weeks one.

Synopsis:

A military conflict erupts between the Vulcans and Andorians over a small terraformed planet that both sides make claim to. In the midst of the skirmish, the Vulcans announce they wish to discuss terms for a cease-fire, but Imperial Guard officer Shran believes the only one he can trust to mediate such a negotiation is Jonathan Archer, so the captain and his ship are called into the fray.

Magnificent, my favorite ep to this point. Jeffery Combs continues to impress each time he shows up on Trek. Soval was key here, he finally stepped into his own, he actually has a personality beyond the apparant 22nd century venere that all Vulcans seem to have. Plakson was a nice guest star, but she was better as Keh'lar. Good action, interesting insight into the Andorians, and their battleships looked nice. Also nice to see Trip act serious for a change, he really stood up and made it look like he deserved three rank pips, which to this point, he hadn't shown he'd earned.

That is two in a row, looks like the Suliban are up next week, lets make it 3 good ones in a row!

As Lou Brown said in "Major League 2":

"We won a game yesterday, if win one today, that's two in a row. If we win again tomorrow, that's called a 'winning streak'. It has happened before."

Agreed. A better than normal episode for ENT.

Let's hope that we can do this more often!

Hey, I really liked this one. The first one I've outright enjoyed since "Dead Stop".

That's the sound of no one watching Enterprise anymore.

Just like a theater where Nemesis is showing. Stone silent, especially after the jokes!
