You know you're a Trekkie if you give the Jem'Hadar "Victory is Life" speech, every morning, before you go to work/school.

Have you ever noticed that some of the Star Trek actors say "Trekker?" You also know your a Trekkie when you'll fly all the way over to Orlando with your boyfriend to go to a convention to meet Kate Mulgrew. Also, when you say things like "Make it so, Number One" and you accuse people of violating the Prime Directive in your day-to-day life. |

Ya, I hate it when they say Trekker. What drives me even more crazy, is when they say "Trekkie," then go "Oh, I mean Trekker..." Lol...and they honestly believe that TrekkER is right...and it's wrong. Even Jonathan Frakes in the Director's commentary of FC said "trekker" and I about went ballistic...LOL

Hey, I WOULD fly all the way to Orlando for a convention JUST to meet the awesome Kate Mulgrew...lol...But I wouldn't fly with a boyfriend...a girlfriend perhaps...lol...

(And when was she in Orlando?) |

Oh I haven't met her yet! I'm so excited! I have tickets to go to a convention in Orlando that she'll be at called Vulkon and it'll be at the end of October this year. I saw her in Tea At Five twice last summer so I'm even more excited to be able to meet her!

You know you're a Trekkie when...someone who falls in love with you says you look like Kate Mulgrew, and that's a major plus.

You may be a trekkie if you can thank star trek for introducing you to the one you intend to spend the rest of your life.

Here in Germany we use both:

A Trekker is a moderate Trek fan. Someone who likes the show but doesn't allow his whole life to revolt around it.

A Trekkie is an extreme Trek fan. One of those people who attend conventions in a uniform and full make up/prosthetics and are proud of it while a Trekker would instantly die from embarassment.
