I think this is a quite hard question. Patrick Stewart is such a great actor, I LOVE every character he plays, so I like them both, Jean-Luc Picard AND Charles Francis Xavier....

I voted for Picard, but only because I have seen him more often as Jean-Luc Picard than as Charles Francis Xavier.

Jean-Luc Picard looks good in any movie possible that he plays in.

But I voted for TNG....its just something about him

Well, I say Patrick Stewart is better as Picard. I see him more of an "action" star, than a guy in a wheel chair.

I should probably move this, but I suppose it's alright here.

Personally, I think Patrick Stewart played both roles quite well. I can't really say which I liked him better in because he fit them so well.

I don't think you can fairly judge a role he has played for over 7 years (picard) to a role he's only been twice (Professer X)

but if you must I say picard

eclipse8472 has a point... I'd have to say TNG too. Even though I *do* like Prof. Charles Xavier.

the thing is their 2 completely differant charcaters nd you cant really judge them because they have their own effective individual personalities.

yes exactly, it must be challenging for an actor who can walk for fine to be in a wheel chair id go mental cause i couldnt fidgit as much as i do but i wreckon i could handle being in a wheel chair.

Patrick Stewart is an awesome actor. i like him a captain picard, there isn't anybody else who could have done that roll, but the same goes with X-men. if they had picked some other bald guy, it wouldn't have been so successful.
